Rv financing companies

Has anyone used RVFinancing.com? We are looking for pre-approval for our rv loan amount before we start looking. We are looking for a used Class C. Any help and advice you guys can give would be appreciated greatly. Our budget max is 50,000.00

  • It changes. When I bought my rig in 2011, the CU had a very good deal. Now banks have seem to be less skittish of lending in the US, so one might be better off going that route.

I'd start with a CU. They may not have long term loans, but their interest rates are sane.
  • Good Sam=Essex Credit=Bank of the West. They beat my Credit Union by 3%, and the financing was completed in three days!

I inquired at Good Sam, was referred to Essex for the paperwork, and make payments to Bank of the We4st.

    Pain free!

I hate Bank of the West. BUT!!! They give very good low interest RV loans. If I finance an RV I get the loan through them. They will usually beat everyone else including credit unions. One of their big problems is their computer system is antiquated. They also have to be reminded that you can make large principle payments. It confuses them. They accout it as multile payments instead. You need to guide them and get it properly accounted for. They do comply. Squeaky wheeel gets the oil. Check out different offices. Depending on area some offices offer better interest rates. Bank of the West in AZ gave better rate than the one in Cody, WY. JMHO.

  • It is not a financing company. It is an Internet agent for finding sources of financing.

They offer some good information. How it works for you depends on your status and what lenders you might find to work with you.

Like you might search for a hotel room at Expedia. But you don't stay at a room on Expedia, you stay at the Hilton or Ramada or Best Western or whatever, and results of your experience will depend on those folks.

For a pre-approved loan I would ask first at my credit union, check the other banks where I have deposits and regularly do business, and look into the cost of a personal loan against savings, before hooking up with new creditors.

Never used them, but check Bank Of The West. They're big in the RV loan business. Our last 2 trailers were financed through them. You can apply online.
