Society today seems to be about bigger, faster, stronger. Gotta have a new house, new car, always something new.
Our experience in the last 22 years of RV'ing is that, MOST, not all, of the people that have the monster 500k coaches dont even step outside to breathe the fresh air. What's the point? Might as well stay home.
A large portion of " campers " are out to enjoy the same things... The beauty surrounding us, getting away from the rat race, spending time with friends and family, and so on. We dont believe there is a food chain, and the people that think there is, well that's their hangup. We prefer not to frown on anyone, no matter what they are
" camping " in. For us, it's all about being free, be it for 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 months.
We too, hate lugging around a fifth wheel. We would be a a 24' Class C, but DH is over 6' and, been there, done that, would never work for fulltiming next year.
