In the past, I have used a pop-up trailer, a TC and a 20 ft prowler as bug-out rigs. They were all equipped with a complete communications station HF, VHF and UHF.
I frequently towed a 26 KVA trailer mounted generator for power for the radios, lighting, coffee urns etc.

I was part of a disaster response team (SATERN) and we provided communications and logistics for SAR teams.
