We have seriously thought about our MH as an emergency escape when a serious big hurricane aims for us...one that doesn't bother coming via North Carolina. We have two large dogs, four adults and one tiny grandson that would need to get out fast.
We keep her somewhat stocked, fueled and genset and battery ready to go. Thankfully hurricanes cannot sneak up on us like they used to. Now we know we can have earthquakes (though small) and the tornadoes are getting meaner...but you can't run from them anyway...the only thing to do if we don't get hit, is load'em up and head'em out...
