The subsidies for alternatives average about 70 times per megawatt produced more than for fossil fuels which are only in terms of tax deductions enjoyed by most other companies. Notions to the contrary are completely incorrect and are fostered by the huge green energy lobby. We have recently given away 36 $BILLION to solar energy and electric vehicle companies which have already failed or are in process of failing. Propping up these not ready for prime time just hampers them in the long run.
