Lots of other cars have also come and gone from the GM line up. Should the company just roll over and never try anything new?
Should Ford have just stuck with the Model T? Ford may have regretted the Edsel but that is no reason to fear developing the Mustang that sold about 1,000,000 copies in the first 18 months.
