We have massive amounts of fossil fuels right here in America. The high price of fuel is driven by political and monetary policy. We just weakened the dollar even more. Paying people to drive EV's actually fueled by coal and natural gas making electricity isn't going to solve these problems. Less than 4 years ago, gas was only $1.79/gal and can be so again.
