Natural Gas is presently and by indication going to be the cheapest cost per BTU.
If fracking is banned or made too expensive to continue, then the cost advantage will shift back towards coal. Whoops, that is being over regulated and made too expensive too. Looks like costs are going to skyrocket as promised.
