EV's just exchange the tailpipe for the smokestack. From oil to gas or coal. With 2.8% of electricity being generated by wind and solar, there is no other conclusion. With 8 hours to charge, what do you do at that remote location while you wait and how do you get back if it is already in use when you get there. We went to Yellowstone last summer and saw none. That remote location must have a power line to have a charger. Power lines kinda spoil the beauty in a national park.
