One of the EVs can recharge in 1 hour and then go another 180 miles. Charging stations are being built in Cal at those intervals. My car takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours to recharge. Fact not dreaming.
out of curiosity, how many charging hookups do they put at each station? I mean if 5-10 EVs drive in to recharge can it service them all or is there a waiting period?

I think there is typically 2 stations at the Tesla Supercharger charging points. About 5 up and operating. These are free of charge for life of the vehicle. All in CA so far so you can pretty much drive most of the state for free right now today. Nationwide network is in the plan so eventually you will be able to travel the nation for free.
