That reminds me of driving my 1000cc Sprint through NV with skis on top. Had it on cruise control (wide open) and it would go about 85 down the hill. Police clocked me speeding and easily caught up to me climbing the next hill at about 50 :R Got a nice lecture but no citation :) I bet he drove away laughing inside. That car got about 40-45mpg with the skis on top running flat out, 50-53 without the skis.
