Filled at Circle K in Apache Junction today, 2.999. We have the truck and the Expedition.
Got ripped off in Holdbrook AZ Tuesday. 3.359 gas and 4.359 diesel all over town. Less than 50 miles south in Heber, diesel was much cheaper and in Payson, 3.599.
Same holds true near the grand canyon, you need pay for it is their thinking.
We currently are in Fl. Here even though stations are listed as having diesel along I75 you cannot get into them. there is a Cracker barrel around exit say 338 I watched a 5er ahead of me do the curb. I followed but had to wait but was able to use the opposite side of the road to turn. The 5er went into a station for fuel I wish him well getting out as I knew I couldn't do it. The Cracker barrel was not much better (used it to turn around). We finally got fuel at 358 but not before going to 3 different exists only to get tied up in traffic then to find out of 7 stations none were RV friendly. Truck stop at 358 worked. Oh yeah the keeper on the dispenser was disabled here also.
We did go into a station in Alabama and it had gas and diesel at the one pump I waited for a few minutes until I realized the girl had the nozzle in the tank but wasn't dispensing. I noticed she was walking around with the gas cap in her hand and finally she went into the station. I spun around as a Mercedes had finished on the other side but the driver was not the one fueling and he wasn't anywhere around. Life is tough sometimes even if you are retired
