that is the situation everywhere, north,south,east,west, not just snowbird. the ones beside the interstate or main highway are usually higher than others if you have the time, desire, and ability to search them out. convenience comes at a price.

Always just go to an exit that has multiple diesel outlets one will be the winner as for accessibility and or price, unless you are in Fl. They use far less space for a gas station than elsewhere.
