Yes the Volt has a built in charger. You can plug it into any 120v outlet. The cord is included. For faster charging it will also accept 240v but then you need an additional 240v wall unit with the J1772 plug for $700 to $1,200 + install. Unlike an RV you can use that welder or dryer outlet in the garage to get 240v.
I would like to see a CNG Volt :)
But then Honda has been making a CNG vehicle for quite some time and sales have not really taken off. The home compressors are far more expensive(compared to EV charging) and still take electricity. When CNG is more easily available for consumers out on the road these may take off.
