It was mentioned in one of the articles that the capacity was similar to an EV or 25 to 40 miles depending on the vehicle and conditions. We are still owed over $26 BILLION directly and the total cost is estimated as when the old GM went bankrupt, the government assumed the liabilities of the pension and medical funds. There is now way to actually calculate these amounts as it is an ongoing expense. There were 4.5 dependents receiving compensation for every GM employee at the time of the bankruptcy. Estimates are around $100 BILLION. ObamaCare for example increased the age of dependents from 18 to 26. (Big Oil tax deductions you hate are $2.8 BILLION or peanuts compared to this.)
