The article isn't from a reputable news rather it is a far right publication that is against anything green.
The largest efforts right now is for a faster charge system and currently the leader in this field is GM but they are under wraps for any media news.
With the mandate of the higher mileages but a few years away the EV and others will make up the cafe standard so they won't go away. Secondly, with this administration they will continue and with the way the wind is blowing the next administration will keep green for another 8 years.
This is all coupled with the newest generation that wants even more green and higher mileages from their cars at a cheaper cost.
Time to hide and watch, progress ain't it grand!
