What I've seen here lately is some stations will be $0.10 extra for each higher grade, and others will have a $0.60 jump from regular to mid. I hate those signs that list only one price. Once I pull up and see the 60-cent bump for mid-grade, I feel like the station operator is saying "bet you're too lazy to drive to the next place." Too bad for them I'm not.
If you've got a smartphone or tablet, look up GasBuddy. Little, free app that allows you to report fuel prices and see other users reports. Simple to use, and works well. At the very least, it lets me know if I'm getting scalped.
