I'm impressed with the moderators here. The constant drift off the pure path is tolerated. It's clear the major posters have opposite views on most subjects, yet there is little flaming. Chain rattling, yes, but all in all, gentle enough.
Cannot agree that employees always pay both sides. State employee unions have seen to that, to my DW's personal benefit when she was working.
Got to check fuel prices in Colorado, as we're heading back in a few weeks. Arizona seems happy to cling to the 3.80 range.
