Why get mad at the reps for there addiction to oil? We've known of this problem for years and years and now you want to get mad? It is time for tough love!
Go green when you can. Buy cars that are energy thrifty. Don't be fooled into thinking anything BP and the boys are doing is for you, from drilling to the XL pipeline. These are for profit and sale elsewhere.

These ideas will also make oil products more available for our use and the lack of demand will make the product stabilize in price.

Anything in life that affects you and your life can be somewhat controlled by you but in most cases takes some effort.
