Filled up the coach (66.7 gallons) at $3.57. When we go further West on the panhandle out of the touristy areas, I saw $3.51. I only have a 70 gallon tank, so I wasn't going to push it too far. Temps getting warm. Up into the 80's today.
Coming down to Orlando this weekend for spring break. Regular is $3.58 here in southern Kentucky today. I expect it's a bit higher down there, huh? I notice everytime I pass Gainesville on the interstate, gas prices jump about a quarter a gallon. Must be 'cause of all the students and their cars.
Orlando blew away yesterday! 70+ mph winds and hurricane conditions. We are heading by your ol'Kentucky home hoping for clear roads after this storm.
Fuel prices are cheaper in several states other than Fl. Plus Fl has few stations that a big rig can get in or out of. (been there done that) Roads with generally smaller lanes.
I generally don't go to stations that are right along freeways as they are higher but just go a block away for the best prices and also stay away from cities as they are to crowded.
