Enough with blaming oil companies for the situation. What are they, charities? Congress and the various administrations have spent decades allowing and funding DoE, EPA and others and their efforts to stop development of our enormous oil resources, discouraging new refineries, blocking nuclear generation, all but ending the coal industry and now working hard to find ways to stifle NG exploitation.
