Well, we are back in Colorado, home to high gas prices. While in AZ we paid as little as 3.299 for 87 octane. Highest I saw was 3.459, but that station is always out of line.
Driving home thru NM we filled twice in the high 3.20s. That was 86 octane.
Entering Colorado, Alamosa prices for lowly 85 octane regular was just under 3.60. Buena Vista is 3.64 & 3.79 per gas buddy. That's more than I was paying for diesel in AZ & NM. And if you want 87 octane, real regular grade, expect to pay at least 12 cents/gal more.
I'm quoting gas as we left the truck in AZ and just drove home in the Expedition.
Going to winter in AZ? Great state for that although the dust does a job on my COPD but son lives in Tucson. Always found fuel chep there as well as food in general. Liked staying in Casa Grande or Tombstone the best.
