I have not heard of any Volts blowing up. the new batteries are far better then old. The Volt generally gets anywhere between 38 to 46 miles on a charge. So generally I save $6.00 a day X 365 = 2100+ a year.
According to folks at GM new batteries should be coming on line in about 2 years, can't wait!
Not sure when dealers order the new 2015 2500's. Need to find out as am getting one for sure. another can't wait!
