McDonalds in ND oil path pays $15/hour with a $2,000 sign on bonus. Those wells are expected to last for about 30 years. ND unemployment is 2.5% (1/10th of Detroit) so people must like it. GM BUILDs 2/3's of their vehicles offshore. Most oil companies are listed on the US stock exchange and owned by investors from all over. UAW lost TN VW election yesterday.
