1.44 euros per litre here in Madrid Spain. Talking to the locals it has been fairly solid here. Less RV'S here but we are staying right downtown just off the Puerta del Sol.
Our new favourite largs european city. Like all the spanish cities and towns we have seen, incredibly clean, excellent transportation and very green. Apparently the second greenest city in the world with huge trees and flowers hers everywhere. Reasonable prices and lots to do no matter what time of the day it is. Reccomend this as a destination for anyone. Again renting bikes is a good way to go if you are doing lots of miles. For stuff further out use the metro. Again watch for pickpockets. No real violent crime here, just little stuff. Spending a few more days here and then off to Segovia.
Hasta luego.
