Itn defence of the various posters here, it’s hard not to get political when talking about fuel prices. The world collectively spends about 200 billion per year keeping oil shipping lanes open. About a million people lose their lives per decade in conflicts in the Middle East mostly from oil wars which generate even more refugees. No easy answers and it sucks that the price of filling our tanks is always determined by those in another region of the world.
In other news my hydro bill went up 2 percent this year. Getting close to 9 cents per kilowatt hour. Still cheap to “fill up” our electric vehicles. Glad the only tank we have left to fill is our diesel pusher. Thinking it will be a while before that one goes electric. Besides, it sounds cool. :)
