- AO_hitechExplorerOdd, all the stations around here are 20 cents higher today than monday. :(
- SRTExplorerGasoline prices continue to drift downward. Some stations have dropped to $3.79. Others are still at $3.84. Diesel is still around 20¢ a gallon higher than gasoline.
- LindsayRichardsExplorerMany city buses are switchinng to ntural gas. they are roughly similar to rvs. seems to me this could be done for us too. problem is the infrastructure for the fuel. I keep hearing that over the road truckers are looking hard at this. that would solve that problem. i am hopeful.

We won't be using CNG in RV's. LNG maybe. Diesel/LNG dual fuel is more likely (Diesel mixed with ~ 80% LNG).
Now there's a concept. Yours or from where Dave. - camperdaveExplorerWe won't be using CNG in RV's. LNG maybe. Diesel/LNG dual fuel is more likely (Diesel mixed with ~ 80% LNG).
- LindsayRichardsExplorerI was thinking in terrms of the next generation of RVs. Dont tbink gou can convert one. I am in Ga state park and was just talki.g to neighbor who has a Winnie with a Mercedes engine.17 mpg with no toad. 26 ft unit. 2 slides. giant strides being made already. I just put $64 fuel into my truck and will do $200 into my coach in the morning. fracking water is reused just about everywhere fracking is done. makes sense and is cheaper. try to keep abreast.

Right now it is illegal to export natural gas. There is a bill in congress to correct this. This will drop the world price, but it will still be cheaper per BTU than oil or coal and not hurt the big push to convert our transportation trucks to natural gas. Exports will always help America. The law of supply and demand is what dropped the price so much. It does work. I would love to see RV's running on natural gas. There are problems, but they can be corrected.
I'm sure someone can do a change on your 2004 rig to make it run on CNG right now............. go for it!!!!!
You will be able to expound on the virtues of CNG and not have to worry about the oil industry that seems to overwhelm you. - LindsayRichardsExplorerRecycling of fracking waste water is done all over the country no mattef what the antifracking blogs say. you nent rv may be run wifh atural gas.

- DelCamperExplorerNG crashed in price due to the tremendous amount they recovered. That price will rise once an infrastructure is in place to bring it to market. Actually it's one of the few good investments out there that has little to no downside.
