More abject, sick-to-the-stomach revulsion. - SRTExplorerGasoline prices seem to have halted their downward trend. Guess I better run out and fill the cans with non-ethanol before prices go up again. Just checked the prices in Cloquet about 15 miles west of Duluth. Their prices are 5¢ a gallon cheaper ($3.15 vs $3.20).

On another note, damn right this country needs an energy policy that takes us toward independence... Washington needs to get it's act together on so many levels, it borders on criminal negligence.
Lighten up. Congress needs to take its time on important matters like this so they get it right. They've only had since October 1973 to study the problem.
Congress has the real ability to "kick the can down the road" again and again. Or is that the Energy Department??? :h - BumpyroadExplorer

Those found below the ground are to be taxed and regulated out of existence.

All I know is right now I'm watching the gas prices drop slowly, for the moment, in California and trying to decide when to gas up so that I fill my vehicles at the low point before it shoots back up.
On another note, damn right this country needs an energy policy that takes us toward independence. Mad Max, the post-apocalyptic oil collapse movie from the 70's (?), is not the world I want my kids and grand kids to live in. I'd like to die believing they have a decent life ahead of them. Washington needs to get it's act together on so many levels, it borders on criminal negligence. - LindsayRichardsExplorerInteresting article on huge new shale oil find in Southern California. This could rewrite the whole oil business if allowed to be recovered. The experiences learned in ND will be a huge advantage for California.

Clearly money it's the problem. In my state, private schools costing way less per student get much better test scores.
