- LindsayRichardsExplorerI think 33 years puts you into the informed category. What do you think of the oil companies?

Whew what a relief, from how great EV's are to beating down on Fox News, gotta love this thread. :B
I am sure FN gives equally poor stories about Big Oil. :R
It is not so much about actual news these days, it is about ratings and advertising $$ to maximize profit.
Maybe it has always been that way.- LindsayRichardsExplorerCrudeman, do you work in in the oil business?
- crudemanExplorerOh ya fuel prices in North ALabama today was 3.04 and 3.79 was the best I saw around town.
- cekkkExplorerGood news, it looks like gas and diesel is a bit cheaper in New Mexico, where we'll be fueling up the truck and Expy tomorrow, snow willing.
- tomman58ExplorerOne thing I do is carry a pair of gloves for filling the diesel into the truck. There isn't anything nice about those pumps. Plus you don't have a truck that smells like diesel, a good thing. 588 gallons this trip 6600 miles thus far.
- LindsayRichardsExplorerThat wasn't done by Fox News, but by a local Fox Entertainment station. The videos were not Photoshopped and were a true representation. Chrysler did in fact fire the 13 employees after their investigation. Why, because they were guilty as shown in the video conducted over a 10 day period. It appears that the fired workers got 2 years back pay also, but this is being "no commented" by Chrysler and the UAW. I might also point out that Chrysler is not an American company and is wholly owned by FIAT (Fix It Again Tony).

Fuel dropped 2 cents in MS. The new GM trucks are out to look at on the net. Like the new dash and the more robust side views. Great! Can't wait! Bring on the new diesel and the 8 speed trans. An American truck, made in Michigan by Michiganders.
Yah but the scary thing is they might be getting built by guys like this. Must be nice to be bullet proof. These guys have got it made in the shade. No consequences no matter what they do.

Vesta has already cut 500 Colorado jobs, about a third of the force, and will cut another 3000 world wide. Remaining Colorado workers' work-week hours have been cut to 32.
"Ditlev Engel, Vestas' chief executive officer, said he's bracing for a drop in U.S. orders next year as a wind power tax credit expires." Denver Post.
The company is hoping to lose no more than a half a billion dollars now that they are off the dole and back IRW.
