I saw today that GE announced a $15 BILLION investment in the fracking industry starting with a large research center in OK.
And the greenies in California are screaming about fracking operations that even Gov. Moonbeam supports. - SRTExplorerPrices continue the downward drift. Current prices on Gas Buddy show many stations at $4.01. Oh, so close to the "magical" $4.00 mark :). That means next week we'll spend less money for gasoline for our camping trip.

Diesel is cheaper than gasoline up here - $3.99. Gasoline prices continue to slowly drift down. Prices this morning range from $4.11 to $4.21. The oil price this morning is $93.87 a barrel. Hopefully the refineries will be back up soon and the gasoline prices will retreat below $4.00 a gallon.
In all seriousness, how do we account for a $1 price differential between gas prices in MN vs. Tucson? When you take out the dime state tax difference, that's a huge spread.
I agree. Today locally I bought gas/diesel at Shell for $3.37/3.69 - cekkkExplorer

Happy Memorial Day! - RambleOnNWExplorer IIFound regular for $3.75/gal at one of the old favorite stations and topped up the last 1/4 tank of the MH. This price is down near the Costco zone. I've seen this station do this before, when the wholesale price of gas has dropped and other station are raking the profits while they can. This station is going for the volume. Other mainstream/top tier stations are still at $3.89/val.

4 1/2 years ago it was $1.84.
And 5 years ago it was more expensive than today. See? Gas is cheaper today than it was 5 years ago. Account for inflation and it's an even greater bargain today than back then.
Don't try to confuse some with the facts.
That fits with this article, where when folks that are fact challenged have to establish causal relationships between steps supporting their "facts", moderate their views. - Gale_HawkinsExplorerWell this thread had a good run.
