Still don't get it, but that is OK, we enjoy your money. The dealers are there for the snowbirds who don't know any better. Everything cost more in Detroit since it is now officially bankrupt.

Unlike places you would go, these are "real" dealers and their prices are posted. So get off your limited line of knowledge.

Had a lot of catching up today. went downriver for lunch then back out to the burbs then home. Seen a lot of gas stations but don't think I looked at the gas prices............................... car's recharging now, LOL

I did get an oil change up north in a small town at the Chevy dealership, cost $57.00. The same oil change at another Chevy dealer in Louisiana was $72.00 at another in Florida near Mt. Dora at another Chevy dealer $95.00! I almost was tossed from the dealer on that one but in the end they lowered their price $20 bucks. The cost for oil must be higher in the gulf states or maybe they pay their people more ...... not.

just got back from the quiet life of the UP of Michigan. Well not to quiet in the casinos, LOL. Diesel was $3.89 which is cheaper than the lower in several stations. Depending as to what they can rip us for, the price varied about $.50 a gallon. I can here the whine about the poor station owners profit but many of these guys asking the big bucks were in good volume stations while the ma and pas were the lower generally.
Good to be back, cost for car last month 25 bucks again! Used a gallon of gas,LOL.

Don't get hopes up, its a mistake. The next load the station gets, will be a shock to the cost. Be prepared. We saw that here once, and the following load it increased 15 cents.

Today several of the gas stations reduced (!) their prices. One station posted $3.59 a gallon. So there is hope for lower prices.

Just on the northern Oregon Coast today gas $3.99 for reg, diesel $3.89, diesel has been real steady at the $3.80 to $3.99.
