I was talking about drilling rigs and he got confused with refinedies. They usually work 14 days on and 14 off. Looks like a lot of the prior danger is gone now. I am at a Flying J fight now. 3.29, RV lane satalite pumps, long handled washers. They want the RV business. Tbis one doesnt say Pilot though so not sure what is going on.

- LindsayRichardsExplorerI spent 3 hours on an oil rig tour yesterday and learned a lot about how it is done. Very interesting. Not a cheap simple ptocess. Tour guide was on Deep Water Horizon 2 days before accident. When we get WiFi Ill post photos on our wedsite. Morgan City, LA price was 3.29. Coach was full of 3.33, but truck runs good on 3.29.

Oil companies make a lower profit than the Fortune 500 average...If you think they are making so much, they are publicly traded and you can bet your 401k on them. Your best weapon is to educate yourself and others.
Right... It doesn't take ANY WHERE NEAR $90 to "produce" a barrel of oil. Not even close. They are making a HUGE profit from oil. HUGE.
Being publicly traded doesn't mean I would share in the profits like "they" do.
As a "north American" my birthright is cheap food, cheap heat, cheap a/c, and cheap gas to haul my fat a$$ about the country. So there.
By the way, what does it cost to product a barrel of oil?
Retail pump diesel $4.46 a US gallon in our town. - John___AngelaExplorerI think these type of high performance Electrics will not have to compete with cars like the leaf etc as they are in no way meant to be a commuter type vehicle. The commuter types will instead being weighing cars like the Prius plug in hybrid or Volt against straight electrics. For us a 20 to 30 mile range would be more than adequate for 95 percent of our driving. Until our little diesel smart cars breakdown we won't be buying but our oldest is now almost nine years old so sooner or later....

- SRTExplorerThe stations that were at $3.49 raised their prices to $3.53. But the other prices vary from $3.54 to $3.65. Most are around $3.55. Diesel prices are in the $3.90's. I see that the oil price is at $97.23. I'm surprised that the gasoline prices haven't gone up by 10¢ a gallon by now.
