- Gale_HawkinsExplorerSince the price of farmland (major store of value in our region) is tied to gold prices it seems things could get interesting for fuel prices too if the world is shifting to a lower gear due to miring in financial mud. Money from the rest of the world seems to be looking for a safe parking place in USA stocks I noticed at lunch. Hope smoke and mirrors can keep us afloat a bit longer.
Gas is currently $3.30 plus minus one cent locally. - SRTExplorerWow, a "big" drop in oil prices yesterday down to $87.30. Wonder how far down the gasoline prices will drop. Nice to see anyhow. Prices of gold and silver also dropped. Guess I'll have to pick up some more silver coins.
- LindsayRichardsExplorerWe saw $3.29 and $3.30 in Plymouth, Florida last night which was lower than normal in the area which is still around $3.39 to $3.45.
- SRTExplorerGasoline prices continue their downward trend. $3.39 - $3.43. Diesel is running $3.92 - $3.99.
- tomman58ExplorerKnow plenty of folks still in Fl from MN. They told me it was to early to go home. Sounds like they were right. Bought my DW a Kindle HD for Xmas. She won't leave it alone as I've loaded many games on it for her. I have plenty of books plus Amazon prime which gives vids and books and 2 day shipping. She still hasn't read a book on it though, LOL.
Getting the truck's body repaired after incident in GA and having the trailer warranty issues done should be RVing in the UP by May. We'll see what diesel is up there it is always a surprise! - SRTExplorer

Actually, it's monopoly economics at work. They all do the same thing, and at their pleasure.
Yeah, I know. That's why we're paying through the nose for gasoline/diesel.
SRT if you are going to worry daily about the price of fuel then you will only drive yourself nuts. Get a hobby!
hop in your RV and go but a few miles somewhere without WIFI or TV you'll feel better at the end of the day.
Naw, I'm not worrying about the price of gasoline. These posts are just dispensing information for this area. Prices just move more rapidly now then they used to. We just had a cousin (78 years old) put his DP up for sale. Part of their reason was the price of diesel and they wanted to downsize. Found out the prices of used class B's & B+'s were pretty high.
I have 2 hobby's right now. Snow blowing my driveway once or twice a week and working on my HO model railroad. Plus I have a ton of e-books on my Kindle. IPad is in the mail for the DW. If it stops snowing long enough the mailman can make it through the drifts to deliver it. - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIRegular can be had in Tucson for $3.19. It has been dropping for a couple of months. :C
