Big snow coming might hunker down for a day. Don't feel like being in the smokies with 8 to 12 inches of snow falling there! - SRTExplorerTo keep on topic......:B Prices continue to retreat downward. Some stations are at $3.61 with the highest still at $3.69. Hope these prices continue to fall to closer to $3.00 for the driving season.
- SRTExplorerGasoline prices in this area are $3.67 to $3.69. I feel like we're on a roller coaster. We just climbed over that first tall tower that lets the car get a start down with enough speed to handle the rest of the high points and low curvy sections. Just think, several weeks ago prices were 20¢ a gallon higher. Several months ago we touched a low of $2.89. Why do I get the feeling we, the gasoline users, are being whipsawed by the producers of this fuel. Personally I think we should all take a 2 week vacation from driving. Maybe that would fill their storage tanks to overflowing. Naw, they'd just shut down the refineries, sell the excess overseas, and we'd be up a creek. Ah, well.
- tomman58ExplorerPaid $3.99 in Sebring on Weds. wow
Heading north once cleared FL in to Georgia prices around $4.01 to $4.07.
We will see as we go north I75 pretty heavy going that way but nothing compared to April 1st.
Will be glad to be home with a fire in the fireplace and doing some drives in the Volt. Not to mention all those restaurants and casinos that we've longed for. - SRTExplorer

Prices are also dropping here in the Phoenix area, but not as rapidly as millimeters, more like a scintilla, which is a fraction of a tad.
:B:B - LindsayRichardsExplorerHey, don't feel bad. I have that buying high down to an art form. We delayed our trip a day as my wife is feeling bad, and I am thinking it may have saved me a little in fuel cost.
