- Greydog_1ExplorerChicago regions upwards 4.75 in spots. That's regular. We are on the way to 5.00 maybe?
- Gale_HawkinsExplorerWe saw a 12 cent jump today to $3.53
- Ski_Pro_3ExplorerGas 3.89 gal and diesel 4.19 in Boise, ID today.
- tomman58ExplorerJust got back from the UP today. Diesel was between $4.37 and $3.89 no rhyme or reason just was. T/A $4.19. Lot of folks heading north this being Friday, boats, trailers and 4 wheelers the order of the day. Also observed a caravan on windmill props going north and also the new grid going in.
Seen an abundance of State police and county boys out there also, so watch it, it is time to refund the states treasury! LOL - LindsayRichardsExplorer$3.29 in Central Ga today.
- SRTExplorerGasoline prices today were at $3.84 to $3.91. Diesel is $3.99. At least it is costing less (less painful) to fill the motor home. Boy, the past 6 months have had gasoline prices go from a low of $2.89 around the first of the year to $4.39 at the end of May. Seems the price swings are getting bigger. Hard to plan a budget.
- Dick_AExplorerI noticed today that diesel in our area has been rising slowly. Current price is
$4.00 to $4.10 / gallon.
However, I have noticed groceries and utilities have been rising at a faster pace this last year. - BumpyroadExplorer$3.16 today in south hill VA. but if the high gasoline prices are fixed by big oil, why is gas here 60 cents less than elsewhere?
bumpy - SRTExplorerPrices are drifting downward now by millimeters. A penny here, penny there.....:R. Must be profit taking by somebody as we continue to have our wallets raped.

Minimum wage is $8 here in CA. That's entry level, training wage. I'd imagine anyone who is trained is going to make 50% more.
You'd think. I have a good friend who, due to a couple issues, is working at a major fast food shop. He has been there but three months and you wouldn't believe the stories. Managers who have no idea how to open the store, workers paid so little they just don't come in if they don't feel like it. And on the rare occasion there is enough staff to handle the load, they invariably send someone home.
My buddy can run the whole kitchen, is begged to come in every day, but still not get in more than 30 hours, and still gets minimum. Point is, labor is everything, and minimum wage is the rule. Raises are a dime, if at all. Assistant mgrs making just a bit more.
