Rv interior colors

Why are all the coach makers using such.dark colors in their coaches? It seems all the new coaches use cherry or maple for the cabinets color,.and the wood trim too. And the counters are all a taupe color, or putty color. for us it makes the whole coach dark .... Even the sales persons we have talked to say the same thing anyone else notice this too? The older coaches at least used brighter color.schemes
  • I agree. The dark colors make it feel more cramped. Then again, I am in a 1998 Nash with dark colors and dreadful feeling and looking upholstery too...

    Probably because that is what sells and what their customers want. I doubt they would use color schemes that are not in demand by their customers and therefore be very slow sellers.
  • It just seems odd that they have gone away from brighter interior colors. Even if we had the money to buy new, we wouldnt because of the colors
  • Over the years the RV industry has trended both directions. Guess they are in a dark period. I would like to see more exterior color choices though I know why they do not. Folks would want what is not on the lot. I probley would
  • Natural Oak was just over used, although I still like it. What I think is ridiculous is "WHITE" upholstering and carpets. I am fine with any earth tones, to neutrals.
