I must be the Odd man out, I'm more of a "get there" traveler, when we go back to Central NY on occasion, I drive the entire 580 mi. in a day, of course that includes potty stops, for us & the fur kid, we try to do everything at one stop, fuel, bathroom, grab a sandwich & back on the road.
Agreed, it does make for a Very long day, but if I only drove 200-300 mi. as some do, i'd have the feeling that I wasn't getting anywhere.
