Nothing like watching the sewer hose going gulp, gulp, gulp. Even w/o smell you KNOW what is going on and that is enough for some folks to get queasy.

I also would have said something along the lines of
"HEY......we're eating right now."
"Mama didn't teach you or have you forgotten your manners?"
Things like that I do not let go unchallenged. Just like when someone lets 'pet' go poop and not pick it up
"HEY......hold up I have a bag for you!!"
Shame them in a LOUD voice.
