everyone is taking it too far
if your neighbor's table is full of food and they are sitting and eating within a reasonable distance of you----then common courtesy says wait til they eat and then yank the handle when they are done.
geez, it is such a simple thing yet everyone blows it SO out of proportion.
there is times when the picnic table next to you IS NOT full....do it then.
if you MUST do it while they are eating and it is cause your schedule is booked, then so be it and everyone deals with it :)
but if YOU can wait a sec, geez, a little courtesy is not a bad thing to extend to someone even if they don't know you are giving it!
this isn't rocket science, it is if you can wait a bit be courteous and if it is dire you dump exactly at that minute, then do it. if the other gets gassed, so be it :) sometimes sh** happens! :) :)
