RV Park Review deferred

I posted one once about a park near St. Paul, MN and it was not approved. Of my over 100 posts this was the first one that ever was not. But I told the truth about the owner's behavior daily after about 3-4pm and the issues it cost us and others in the park. I guess they felt that was too personal or something.

I also have noticed that the number of post have gone down quite a bit. I think that I read somewhere that they were threatened by lawsuits by campgrounds that asked them to remove what the cg owner thought was false post.

I will say that the activity over there has gone way down. I used to go there all the time but now there are other options that are unvarnished. I want to know when management messes up reservations and not delete it. It means it coukd happen to me. I remember reading somewhere it was sold too. I can not remember where I read it but it seems they have changed and no longer are the home to place. Heck facebook have an RV review page as well as RVilliage too.

I can see why they would remove a post like that. You really aren't stating the facts of your experience. You are stating a judgment about a person and of course can't possibly know whether that is true or not. I've put all kinds of critical comments on RVParkReviews.com and never had an issue when I've stated facts. You can say "the park is in need of maintenance" because you observed weeds, uneven gravel, broken electrical pedestals, etc. You can say that the staff didn't escort you to your site and then became irritated at you when you went the wrong way, etc. Saying the staff is "over their head" isn't useful and is an opinion boarding on a personal attack.

I try and read between the lines too. I mainly look for items that do not change or have safety concerns. For example: Is the location safe? Near some sort of car crusher or mine. Are the sites level? What services do they have? Is or was the bathrooms clean and up to date. Is there sewer issues? ECT>>>>>>………
There are a LOT more than just above items. A pattern is something I look for too.

If you make any despairing remarks about the owners or management of a park, it will not be posted. We went through this a few months back with one of the rvparkreviews administrators/censors, person. You are only allowed to describe the park. But most of us seem to understand that the best park in existence can be ruined by bad management. Also keep in mind that the rvparkreviews is owned by a private company and they make their money by selling ads on the site.

I wrote one once in which I stated the main activity there seemed to be drinking and their extended time for happy hour...They rejected it. I don't need them they need me..

Personal information is usually defined as anything that can identify you as an individual. If you remove this information only the review should pass. I have posted positive and negative reviews with no issues whatsoever.
