You are either on drugs or should be. This pandemic is just starting and is not manufactured. All these steps are an attempt to slow it's spread to prevent our hospitals from being overwhelmed. This could be like the 1918 Spanish flu. Italy has been having almost 500 die per day. That would be similar to over 3,000 per day in the US. That is what we are trying to prevent. Everyone should stay home and isolated.

This is exactly the kind of panic no one needs. The "Spanish Flu" was much worse than this, and the fatality rate for this viral infection is skewed toward the very old and infirm. Younger healthy people are affected much less than those who are elderly and have ongoing health issues. The "Spanish Flu" death rate was more than twice what this one is.

The article I read about the Italian death rate said that almost all of the elderly who died had other health issues: diabetes, heart problems, respiratory problems.

Any way you look at it, the over whelming majority of people who are exposed to the infection will be just fine. Panic and FUD does no one any favors. Just stay home and quit buying stuff you don't really need right now. Hoarding won't make it go away.
