RV Raffles

Wow, congrats Jared.
If you look at the positive side, what you ended up paying in raffle tickets and what you ended up with was a positive.

I feel bad for Wyoming Paint Brush. I believe their heart was in the right the place, but needed a little more business savy.

It took 492 days, but they came through with most of the money. It wasn't enough for everything, but now I have one heck of a truck (2015 Ram MegaCab, Diesel, 5th wheel prep package, black edition) to pull whatever I want to buy out of my own pocket. They made promises and I kept the faith. It was just as hard on them as it was on me. It all worked out in the end. Now if they are going to re-organize and continue the organization, I don't know, but good luck to them.

It's been 442 days since I won the grand prize. What money they think they have for me is still being tied up by the irs. The not a promise, promise is between 30 and 50 cents on the dollar. If and when it comes I guess something is better than nothing.

Talk about bad luck.

I won a tv in a raffle once. Got it home and the plug supplied would not work. Chunked it and any more I really look at anything I contribute to.

I know of only 1 person that won a small boat & trailer he really didn't want. Bought a raffle ticket for a charity function and won, he immediately sold the new boat without ever putting it in the water.

Have a friend that won the fifth and truck in one of those raffles a couple of years ago. He's snowbirding in Florida now not too far north of me.
