With fuel approaching $5.00 per gallon national average and predicted to keep climbing, watch this accelerate like a runaway train. Of course they still sugarcoat it, which is to be expected coming from the RV Industry's propaganda publication.

  • Sure sales are down, covid produced a wave of buyers but we all knew that wouldn't last. Now that the covid rush has passed the high cost of fuel has the opposite effect of suppressing sales.
Interesting to see where the numbers end up if fuel prices remain high.

plus the used units on the market after the covid buyers found that RV'ing is a lot of work and maintenance and were dismayed at the difficulty in getting a campsite if you don't reserve a year in advance
  • Did anyone really think that many people were going to continue buying RV’s after Covid? Then add in the gas prices, Well, we all knew what was going to happen!
