RV Satellite Replacement

Question

My old Winegard MV-3500 satellite has finally bit the dust.  It was installed in 2005.  I'm thinking of getting a G3 which handles two TVs and good for Directv and Dish.  My question to all you folks is should I have it installed on my roof where the old one is or should I just use it as a carry out.  Anyone ever have one stolen when it was sitting out??

None stolen yet in 15 years or so.  We do put it up when we leave camp.

As nice as it is to have it mounted on the roof and just hit a switch. Being able to move it around on the ground to an opening with no trees is a big plus!

Mine is roof mounted. If I'm in the trees where the sat doesn't work, there are always movies to watch
