RV Season is beginning

Got to the local Wal Mart just before 3 this afternoon. 2 Class A's in the front of the parking lot, slides out and awnings deployed. Guess they were getting an early start to the evening. Interesting, these people would choose to camp at Wally World when they can camp in the shade with water and electric for under $20 a night at the local fair grounds.
  • We've stopped many a night at Flying J, Loves, etc. and slept well. The loud speaker didn't work where we were I guess. Of course I do park far away from the restaurants/pump area though.

They are cheap. Walmart is not a camp ground. We stayed 1 night in a Flying J. after driving 12 hours. It was midnight and we were tired. Driver 71 your turn for the shower on the loud speaker all night long.

    Never again.

    Pogoil.

  • Hey they are only resting....not camping :B Memorial day weekend our local walmart we had motorhome who "camped" the entire weekend and left for the day in the toad on Monday they were seen pulling out toad attached heading out of town.....It's funny because our town has a full hookup campground 18 a night. But we see all kinds stopping over for the night.
