I have wondered about the high price of RV toilet paper compared to regular. I had a friend of mine (Fellow RV'er) tell me to take a piece of any brand of regular toilet paper and put it in a glass of water overnight. I tried it with 5 different brands (Regular toilet paper) and the next morning i tried to pull it out of the glass. It totally goes to pieces. Try this and Privet message me with your results.

Any toilet paper will work well in a holding tank as long as you also use plenty of water. Other than TP and water, if it doesn't come through you, do NOT flush it.

I'm not going to discuss my toileting practices on a public forum....Basically, I close the door to the bathroom and that's all I'm going to say beyond that......:B

I think most of us use regular toilet paper, not RV stuff. Previous test results have shown most regular brands breakup quickly. With the exception of Charmin, which was slower.

Nope, that's a boondocking special. By going outside, it gives you more time before you have to empty your black tank.

Yep, a Boon Docking Bidet.
Use mine all the time, can boon dock for weeks without have to dump the black tank.

Which ones are not septic Safe? A holding tank is not a septic system.

Looked on line for a Bidet, at Home Depot for the home.
The bottom of the line is a hose with nozzle that fits to side of toilet just like the ones in many of our RVs.
We though they were for rinsing the bowl out. Who knew?

BTW, Scott makes an RV/Marine specific TP that is cheaper than the RV brand name products, and we have never had any issues with it. I'm not willing to risk the "plugged up" issue just to save a few cents. Been there done that. It was not pleasant.

We also use the Scott boat/RV TP. It is not expensive.

We use John Wayne brand TP, it doesn't take ~~~~ off anyone.

If the store is out of John Wayne, we get the Teflon brand, nothing sticks to it.
