25 years of boats progressing from a 21'er with a 200hp on the back to a 27' diesel to a 32' diesel. When things went wrong I had to figure it out for myself, mechanical, fiberglass work, plumbing electrical, everything.
It was an easy step into RVs. I swapped bottom paint at $200/gal for tires, the washing & waxing is the same though the RV is much easier with the flat sides. Engine oil changes are much easier now. Fuel burn went from gallons burned up in a mile to many miles per gallon.
RVs are simple beasts. They are much easier to access too. Things go wrong. Most of the time with a little logicsl tracing the problem is a simple fix.
