Some of them may well be drinking safe, don't know.. This however I do know.
They extend to full length when pressurized and 'Condense" when pressure goes down, NOT suitable for RV-Water supply.. OK for filling the fresh tank but NOT for city water use.. As the pressure changes, so does the length of the hose, Can cause serious issues. Sorry.
NOW: before these there was a flat hose on a reel.. I think I still have one in fact,, Those are small, compact and do not extend/retract under pressure, they do however inflate.. At least one was sold that was drinking water safe.
Camping World Handi Hose
This is a 50 foot version of said hose.
