Call me stupid but I can understand why this rig parked near yours. By parking your beautiful rig there you have announced to others that 1. this is a spot acceptable for large rvs 2. anyone with a smaller less lavish rig will be okay next to you (more likely for your stuff to get stolen than theirs) 3. there is less likelihood of problems staying in numbers because others will assume, as I did from the pic, that you two are travelling together and someone is probably staying behind to watch the gear.
Now having typed the above I will add that I would not have parked that way next to you and would have chosen a spot either in front of or in back of you, a safe distance away to allow manuevering. Or more likely would have backed into an empty spot in the truck parking area.
OP have you ever noticed that everyone you meet is a real idiot or jerk? In life people often reflect back the type of attitude others project at them. Lighten up.
