RV's verses rv & campsites
I am convinced there are 10 times more RV's and Campers than there are campsites in America. Every time I try try to make a reservation there are no vacancies ......

We try and stay away from st parks from June thru August. They seem to fill faster than any other types here in Oregon. Just last week I made a res for an RV park off hwy 58 for this weekend. Probably 7-8 open when I made the res. Then just two days ago I made a res for a FS campground for next Thur-Sunday. We don't have a res for Mon-Thurs but will have no issues finding a spot up in the Cascades. Way more spots than campers during the weekdays. Weekends are still tougher.
IMO it's where and how you want to camp. No doubt things are getting more crowded. 5 years ago we could've just showed up for our Thur-Sunday stay and had an easy pick of most spots.
